After your manuscript is accepted by Star Publish, an editor will carefully groom your book to be sure it is of top quality in all areas including, but not limited to, content, style, pace, grammar, and sentence and paragraph structure before it reaches print. This is done using a Word file and tracking suggestions. After you have gone over the editing suggestions and insure as many errors as humanly possible are corrected, send your manuscript back to us. A copyedit is then performed for typographical errors and, provided not too many errors are located, formatting is begun. A .pdf proof copy is sent to author for approval. Please understand a final written and error free manuscript is the author's responsibility before sending it to us for formatting. Only a limited amount of word and content changes can be done after formatting before a charge must be added. 

In the beginning, while you are going over the editing suggestions and polishing your manuscript, a cover design artist will begin a design perfect for your novel. Up to three proofs will be sent to you for approval. 

When the manuscript is finished, your work will be formatted. The cover will be finalized, and everything is sent to you for your approval.  Upon your approval, your book will be uploaded to our printer. Your novel will be listed with Ingram and Baker and Taylor. Your book will be available for order in only a few weeks.
